About this flavour
Monster Energy Ultra Blue Hawaiian
A mix of tropical fruit in which nothing takes the lead: pineapple, something of coconut, and a blue-raspberry note over the top. Light and easy to finish, with little acidity. Next to Fiesta Mango, which sits on a single fruit, this is the broader and vaguer can. The blue raspberry note gives the can its colour and its name, but in the taste it is the least present of all the parts.
Blue Hawaiian is largely an American can and reaches Europe only through import, so the size differs from what you are used to here. The blue tiki design has appeared in a single run so far. Because the can arrives here only through import, the best-before date often sits far from what Dutch cans carry, which matters more to drinkers than to collectors.
