Monster Energy Juiced Bad Apple

Apple in its fuji form: crisp, dry and carrying remarkably little sweetness for a can with fruit juice in it. That makes it the opposite of Mango Loco within the same line. A light sour edge keeps the flavour sharp to the last sip, and that edge is exactly what most apple drinks on the shelf lack. That makes the can the exception in a line that otherwise leans on tropical fruit.

Size differs by market and it shows here, because a larger volume makes the dryness more pronounced. The green print has appeared in two generations, with a clear difference in the apple on the front. Older cans can be told apart by that alone, without reading the date. Because the flavour was unavailable in Europe for a long time, older examples here come almost entirely through import and the size differs from what you are used to.
